Carnarvon Gorge runs for 35km at the heart of the 302,000ha Carnarvon National Park, approximately 600km northwest of Brisbane and 300km southwest of Rockhampton.
Reaching depths of 600m near its mouth, it's one of Queensland's most popular natural features. We are located on the border of the Gorge in the Park and by road from Brisbane, it's a 9-10 hour trip via Roma and Injune. It's best to check local conditions before starting your trip, especially if there has been rain.
